Build a shortlist memo
you can defend.
This page gives procurement teams and CIO offices what they need: capabilities, quantified outcomes, named references, and honest answers about what DetectX® does not do.
Eight questions. Answered without a sales deck.
Every vendor will say their platform is best-in-class. These are the questions that separate a claim from a verifiable outcome.
What is the false-positive rate in production — not in a demo?
DetectX® answer: 98% reduction in false alerts at Finnova (Swiss retail banking, production across 100+ banks). Ask for the methodology — we will provide it.
Can you name current customers and describe their deployment?
DetectX® answer: Yes. Generali, Helvetia, Finnova, Sparkasse Zollernalb, Finanz Informatik, Risk Solution Network — named with permission and deployment context. No anonymous references.
How does the platform integrate with existing core systems?
DetectX® answer: REST API for real-time calls, batch for portfolio checks. Embedded directly in the Finnova banking platform. Prospero delivers the integration — no third-party SI.
Is the AI explainable? Can analysts see why an alert was fired?
DetectX® answer: Yes. Every alert carries match reasons, risk score components, and linked entity relationships — designed for analysts and auditors, not black-box verdicts.
What does implementation look like — time to value?
DetectX® answer: Timelines vary by scope and integration complexity. Prospero will provide an implementation estimate after a scoping conversation — we don’t publish generic timelines.
What does it cost?
DetectX® answer: No public pricing. The commercial structure depends on modules, data volumes, deployment model, and implementation scope. See Section 05 for detail.
What doesn’t it do?
DetectX® answer: See Section 04 below. We answer this directly rather than burying limitations in small print.
Who owns the model? What happens when we need to retrain?
DetectX® answer: Evolutionary learning — models adapt continuously from production feedback without manual retraining. Prospero’s team manages model improvements on an ongoing basis.
12 engines. One analytics core.
DetectX® covers the full financial-crime and risk lifecycle. Each capability is a refined, task-specific module — not a generic AI wrapper around industry-standard methods.
Transaction monitoring, sanctions, PEP, and embargo screening. Adaptive false-positive reduction.
360-degree risk view at onboarding, continuous monitoring, enhanced due diligence triggers.
Behavioural anomaly detection, structuring and layering identification, real-time scoring.
Centralised alert viewer with audit trail, workflow checklists, link analysis, and regulatory reporting.
Finnova embedded DetectX® directly into their banking platform. The 98% figure is the production outcome — not a proof-of-concept metric — across AML, fraud prevention, and risk management on live customer data.
“Prospero’s solution has enabled us to develop an optimally separating rating function, which has proved to be very reliable.”
Prof. Dr. Markus Heusler — CEO, Risk Solution Network AGHonest about scope.
Every evaluation should include a list of limitations. Here is ours.
Not a self-serve SaaS.
DetectX® is not a plug-and-play subscription product. Implementation requires a scoping engagement with Prospero’s team. If you need something running in a week with a credit card, this is not the right fit.
No public pricing.
The commercial model is outcome-based and depends on your specific configuration. If a published price list is a procurement requirement, we can explain the structure in a scoping call — but we won’t publish a number that doesn’t reflect your actual deployment.
Not optimised for every geography.
Our reference base is predominantly European (Swiss, German, Austrian, Italian, French deployments). We have operational coverage globally, but if your primary deployment is outside Europe, ask us specifically about list coverage, language support, and local regulatory alignment.
Not a replacement for compliance judgement.
DetectX® surfaces signals, prioritises risk, and provides audit trails. Final compliance decisions rest with your qualified compliance officers — the platform is designed to support, not override, that judgement.
What the commercial model looks like.
A price without knowing your data volumes, module selection, integration complexity, and deployment model is a misleading number. Prospero structures commercial engagements based on actual requirements — typically outcome-based, with implementation services included rather than billed separately.
What you should ask for in a scoping call: a reference implementation cost range for a deployment similar in scope to yours, the implementation timeline estimate, and the SLA structure for regulated-institution requirements.
Everything you need for a defensible shortlist.
A 45-minute technical briefing. We’ll answer your evaluation questions directly, provide reference contacts, and give you implementation clarity.
